東京または日本における外国人による受動喫煙被害に関するエッセイコンテスト
日本では、受動喫煙によって、毎年約1万人が肺がんや心臓病で死亡しています。しかし、行政担当者はタバコ産業の利益を考えて統括的な禁煙法制定を渋っています。
日本を訪問する人びとにとって、日本食はおいしいと思いますが、多くのレストラン、バー、居酒屋はタバコの煙だらけです。日本の空気は、未だにタバコの煙で汚染されているので申し訳ない気持ちです。
2020年のオリンピック大会の主催都市として、東京はここ数年のうちに完全無煙都市とならねばなりません。そこで、皆さまが日本に滞在中、受動喫煙にさらされた体験談、ご意見などを伺いたいと思っております。皆さまからの声によって、日本における禁煙法制定が推進されることでしょう。
1. Ａ４サイズ1～2頁で、テキストファイルかワードでE-メールで送ること。
2. 言語：英語または日本語

4．国籍、日本滞在期間、自国住所、名前、年齢、仕事、E-メールアドレスを記載。
ただし、ペンネームを使いたい方は、ペンネームを記載してください。

結果発表：2016年10月28日／日本禁煙学会ホームページ上。

“Passive smoking disaster in Tokyo or Japan“ Essay Contest by the Foreigners
（１）Aim of the Contest:
In Japan, passive smoking kills nearly ten thousand people each year due to the lung cancer and cardiovascular diseases alone. However, policy makers are reluctant to make a comprehensive smoke-free law for the benefit of tobacco industry.
For the people visiting our country, Japanese foods may be delicious, but many restaurants, bars and “izakaya” are very smoky. We are sorry that air is still polluted by tobacco smoke. As the host city of 2020 Olympic game, Tokyo has to become a comprehensively smoke-free city in a few years.
We would like to hear your experience and opinion about passive smoking exposure during your stay in Japan. Your voice would accelerate the implementation of smoke-free law in our country．

１．One to two pages of A4. Send a text file or Word file by e-mail.
２．Language: English or Japanese.

４．Write your Nationality, duration of your stay in Japan, permanent address, name, age, work and e-mail address.
If you would like your pen name to be appearing, please say so.
